1. Scope of Services
H2oPro Pools agrees to perform pool and/or spa maintenance at the address specified by the Customer, as outlined in the Service Checklist (see Section 4). Services will be conducted [1 or 2 times per week] based on the selected package, with standard chemicals included (see below).
2. Payment Terms
Payment Schedule: Customer agrees to pay H2oPro Pools [in arrears, in advance, or within 15 days of invoice] for services rendered.
Credit Card on File: By providing credit card information, the Customer authorizes H2oPro Pools to charge the card for all services and approved repairs.
Late Payment: Payments not received within 15 days of the due date will incur a $50 late fee.
3. Rate Adjustments
– H2oPro Pools reserves the right to adjust service rates annually based on market conditions. Customers will receive 30 days’ written notice before any rate change goes into effect.
4. Service Checklist
H2oPro Pools will perform the following services during each visit to maintain pool and spa health:
- Water Testing and Balancing.
- Scrub Tiles.
- Empty skimmer basket.
- Brush steps, benches, and tile surfaces.
- Skim surface debris.
- Equipment Inspection.
- Filter Backwash: Conducted monthly.
- Vacuuming: (Bi-weekly for screened pools Weekly for open pools)
- Salt Cell Cleaning: Every 90-120 days.
- Detailed Service Report: Emailed after each service.
Standard Chemicals Provided:
- Chlorine (liquid or tablets)
- Muriatic Acid
- Salt (Up to 12 bags per year)
- Sodium Bicarbonate
- Stabilizer
- 90-Day Algicide
- Calcium
- Clarifier
Custom Services: Additional services may be added by mutual agreement and will be invoiced separately.
5. Access Requirements
The Customer is responsible for ensuring H2oPro Pools has access to the pool area on service days:
– Unobstructed Access: The pool must be accessible (e.g., no locked gates without code, no aggressive pets).
– Pool Covers: H2oPro Pools does not remove covers. If a cover is left on, only baskets and chemicals will be checked.
– Missed Service Fee: If access is blocked, a $50 fee will apply to reschedule the visit. No fee applies if the service is skipped until the next visit.
6. Skip Weeks & Inclement Weather
– Weather Related Adjustments: In cases of inclement weather, services will be performed to the extent conditions allow.
– Scheduled Holidays: No service will be provided during the weeks of Thanksgiving and Christmas.
– Postponements: H2oPro Pools reserves the right to postpone service up to 5 times per year due to weather, illness, or holiday observances.
7. Filter Cleaning
Monthly filter cleanings are included as part of routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
8. Repairs
– Automatic Approvals: Repairs costing under $50 are automatically approved.
– Customer Approval: For repairs over $50, H2oPro Pools will seek customer approval prior to conducting work.
9. Short-Term Rental Properties
For properties used as short-term rentals, H2oPro Pools will perform two weekly visits:
– Recovery Visit: Conducted early in the week, typically on Monday or Tuesday.
– Prep Visit: Conducted later in the week, typically on Thursday or Friday, to prepare for check-ins.
10. Hurricane & Storm Precautions
– Storm Preparation: In case of severe weather events like hurricanes, H2oPro Pools will take necessary precautions to secure the pool. Technicians will be off the roads within 48 hours of expected landfall.
– Post-Storm Service: Customers are encouraged to contact H2oPro Pools with any pool concerns after a storm. Pools may require additional services, such as algaecide treatments or new filters.
11. Communication Preferences
– H2oPro Pools communicates primarily via email for reports, updates, and billing. The Customer may receive occasional SMS updates, and by providing a cell phone number, consents to these text messages.
– For urgent matters, H2oPro Pools may reach out via phone or text.
12. Contract Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement with 30 days’ written notice. Immediate termination may occur if:
– The Customer fails to pay within 15 days of the due date.
– The Customer breaches any terms within this agreement.
13. Customer Conduct
Customers are expected to interact respectfully with H2oPro Pools staff. Disruptive, disrespectful, or threatening behavior may result in termination of service.
By paying each invoice, the Customer agrees to the terms of this agreement. A current copy of the Terms of Service will be available at http://www.h2opropools.com.
